Fall Table Runner

My table runner should be received today according to the Post Office. I used uneven strips to make it. I hope my partner likes it. Didn't take photos of the tuck-ins but they are there.

I'm One Lucky Girl!

I have received the most AWESOME package from Sharon in Waller, TX!!!!! She sent me a wonderful package. She says she likes things from a long time ago and I do too!!! Shawnee couldn't have paired up a better swap. I received a wonderful fall apron, kithen towels, magazines, gloves, a fall plaque and the most wonderful is a journal. It is written in the time period of the 1890's and pertains to this swap. It is in a handmade journal cover. I must admit that I've only read the first couple of pages. I took pictures, but I'm heading out of town and I've already packed the camera BEFORE I downloaded the pics. I'll post the pics when I get back. I'm taking the journal with me to read on the trip. Just reading the first 2 pages I just KNOW it is going to be some GREAT READING.

It's On the Way to Where??????????

My partner's package has been ready for a few days....finally, I'm getting to Post Office...just in the nick of time. I hope she enjoys it!!!!

My package has been mailed!

I hope my swap partner likes what I made for her. I made one of my favorite style aprons which is a full apron with a ruffle. I adore ruffles and rick rack so I used a large brown rick rack to accent the apron. I think I picked out a cute print with pumpkins and squirrels with Pilgrim Hats on it. I thought it turned out cute! The pocket and the tie were made with the border pattern that was on the fabric. Here is a picture of me modeling it with my scarecrows.



I made her a scented "pie" that she can display all season long. I also included some Halloween ribbons, a tea towel, little ghost ornament, Halloween book and a Spooky crate.
