A little red, white and blue

I had fun looking at dozens of fabrics at three different stores, plus an online store, and I couldn't settle on anything until this combination came together. I still haven't exactly decided on the apron design yet, but at least I have some color inspiration.

Vintage cherry blossom and polka dots..

I hope my vintage loving girl like this fabric!
Now I just have to cut it out and sew it up!!

It's amazing how I THOUGHT I knew what I wanted -- until I saw all of the amazing choices. I hope my partner is not opposed to orange. To me these fabrics make me think of spring and summer. They are bright and energetic and will hopefully inspire much creativity in the kitchen of the recipient!!
