Fun Giveaway and Next Swap Status

Hi ladies,

What an amazing swap!  I believe we have just one or two more aprons still flying around so I don't have a new theme to post yet.  BUT I've LOVED this one!!!

I do have a favor -- I've been selected on my personal blog to work with Crocs shoes to help them share the excitement on their NEW Toning shoes.  If you have a facebook or twitter account, will you please stop by my blog and enter my giveaway?  It's only open through midnight on the 27th, and I'd really like a lot of entries to show my appreciation to Crocs!   Go HERE to check it out and GOOD LUCK.

I'm also looking for your suggestions for our next apron swap theme.  Leave your ideas in comments below; can't wait!!
First of all this is an awful pic, and does not show off the apron nearly enough. SHAWNEE IS THE BEST!! I got an apron from our one and only and I am so stinking lucky!! She made me the most adorable (one one side) and freaking hilarious (the other side) apron! I love cowboys and the apron has a whole bunch of western movies and cute cowboys, and one sweet hot mama cowboy!! Whahoo! Love it!! She also made me some adorable polka-dot rubber gloves...which almost make it worth washing dishes;) Shawnee also sent me some chocolate, which went on top of the brownies I served on the sparkly heart plates and bright red super cheery bowl that she also sent me AND I took the left over brownies to work in my personalized lunch bag she sent, that is my fav!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SHAWNEE!!!!!
PS. If you want to be my partner again next time, that's okay with me:)

Thank you, Rita!

I'm sorry this took me so long. I've had a hard week but I am so excited to show all my friends how lucky I was this time around. So here we go.
These are my tuck-ins. All kinds of goodies.

These three homemade pieces are so special. I just adore them.

This may be the most beautiful thing I've ever received. I am honored to get something she put so much time and effort into.

And then of course, my apron.

IT HAS MY NAME ON IT!!

And adorable pockets.

Thanks Rita!
Your hard work was much appreciated. The apron perfect combo vintage valentine and baking!

Adorableness Overload!

I received my swap package in the mail yesterday and I could not have picked out a better package for myself. Kelly from Colorado did an amazing job. The apron is the sweetest, most adorable apron ever. It's has the perfect amount of ruffle and the color/pattern combinations go so well together. It reminds me of either spring time flowers or yummy taffy. She also sent three different pink patterned fat quarters of fabric. I have already used some of one of the quarters to make some new snappy barrette covers for my daughter. She included a very country cottage heart wall hanging that I plan to leave up year-round and the most amazing smelling Sweet Pea candle. Thank you again Kelly for such a wonderful swap.

My toddler was my apron model. I wish the top photo would have come out better but my hand managed to block the flash somehow and I had to digitally fix it. It was just too cute not to include.

My Apron Swap from Shareen!

Here's the lovely swap package I got from my partner Shareen! She was soooo good to me!  First, here are the tuck-ins: she sent a beautiful, vintage hankie (how did she know I collect them?), some chocolate (which "disappeared" right away), pretty note cards and a magnetic list, and some WONDERUL homemade cookies, decorated so pretty! And they tasted just as good as they looked! She also sent a "Pocket Pie Mold."
Here's a closeup of the pie mold - how fun! I can't wait to try it!
And, of course - the APRON itself! Look at the girlie, girlie ruffles! I really love the fabrics, soooo much!
Here's a closeup of the pocket - she layered three fabric hearts (and a heart button!) and did some fabulous embroidery. I love it all! Thank you so much, Shareen! And thank you, Shawnee, for another great swap :-)

She MADE me that gorgeous necklace and earring set! And the soap has chocolate chips inside - MUCH better for my waistline than the usual. Also inside, that cute set of nesting heart cookie cutters AND a convenient and funny little mirror for my purse.

Course, the best is this sweet Apron apron (as my daughter called it). I am so tired in this picture and have dishes to finish, but HAD to share a picture of this cute apron. I love the fabric combination and she added little contrast buttons to the pocket (being squished by Ms T) that make it so cute.

My apron is late..

My swap sister should get her apron on Monday.
I was late in sending it because I was waiting for a fantastic vintage item I ordered for her 3 weeks a go.
I paid extra for priority shipping but the shipper messed up and sent it 3rd class which take 4 to 5 weeks to get to Alaska.
I still have yet to receive it but could not hold off any longer.
So I had to be creative and had some vintage 1960's fabric that I made chaneal goodness with.

Here is a sneak peek at the apron.
