Anyway the blue fabric on the far right is the fabric I plan on using in my partner's apron. However, I might go crazy and put the dark red (fabric right next to blue snowflake fabric) on the back! We'll see if I can do it. I am thinking of using my latest (and second) original apron design. Go to my blog if you'd like to check it out!
I found these two awesome iron on transfers! I want to use them but if I do it makes the apron hand wash only. What are your thoughts as potentially being the one to receive a hand wash only apron? I could always include the iron transfers as a gift!
I'm not a fan of hand wash only, myself. I've got young kids and really use and abuse my aprons, I like to toss them in with other laundry and not have to worry about them. If I had one that was hand wash only, I'd probably never wear it.
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite aprons have at one time or another have become an emergency towel :) The most loved aprons are usually the abused ones.
ReplyDeleteI love the snowflake, so it is a hard choice. You could always use this apron as the after dinner is mostly done and the guest are arriving, you pull out hte fancy clean apron. Make the ooh and ahh, and think it is no sweat from you to pull of a fabulous dinner and not spill a drop:)
ReplyDeleteThe snowflake is super fun I would include it! I cant wait to see what you create.. It will be super fun and hip I am sure..
ReplyDeleteIf it is a utility style of apron then it has to be machine wash for me.....If it is a fancy hostess or really frill flirty super foo foo, she she apron then I don't have a problem with handwashing.....If it is something I really love I will handwash.
ReplyDeleteyour choice! You are making it, right?! I think whatever you do, she will LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI ADORE the red with snowflakes - I want some for my own!
