It's a mid-weight printed quilter's cotton. The actual woven gingham was so thin it was nearly sheer; I just didn't think it would hold up to being used.
Time to stop planning and get to doing.

OOoohhhhh Archie....
I know what I want, but I can't really find a pattern for it that doesn't involve miles and miles of bias binding. I have no wish to attach miles of bias binding, so I just may try drafting something myself.

ReplyDeleteyou can find them on etsy. I think I typed in canning apron or gramma apron or 40s apron and lots came up
