Celebrating Independence - Giveaway #1

Okay ladies, here's our first giveaway open to everyone who has joined or blogs about the Flirty Apron Swap prior to midnight PST on May 15, 2008. Not a participant yet? Join today!


Lana from Sassy Apron is giving away this gorgeous and flirty "I See Stars - Flirty Independence Day Apron" to one lucky lady!


I have been drawn to Lana's aprons for months! Lana's shop profile reads,
"My name is Lana and I live in sunny Arizona. I am the designer behind these one-of-a-kind, beautiful vintage inspired aprons! I create the designs, cut the fabric and sew the aprons one by one! I am fascinated with fashion! I love the 20's flapper dresses and hats, the 50's Dior New Look skirts, the 60s mod dresses. I try to use these styles as an inspiration in my aprons. I cut the aprons' skirts on bias for a fuller look and I love to add ruffles and small details like rosettes or bows on them."

All you have to do is visit Lana's Sassy Apron Etsy Site and browse around, then come back here and leave a comment below telling me what your two favorite items are in her shop. If you would like to enter a second time, blog about this giveaway at your own site, then leave the link to your post in a second comment. And, you will be entered a third time if you post a swap button on your site (copy the code for the images from the right sidebar) and leave me a separate comment.

    Loved her store! My two faves are:

    1) Giselle ~ because I always love a pink and green combo!
    2) French Chic- Amelie ~ because it's so flirty, and so original!

    I love aprons! I've never done an apron swap. I have plenty of aprons, and just posted (this week) an apron I made for my daughter for her birthday.

    I have been a wife for 10 years and mother for 4 years. I just got my first apron a couple of months ago and I LOVE IT! I am in love with the stars and stripes! How fun!

    How are you to chose just two?? Those are the most cutiest aprons I have ever seen! I looked at each one of them, just love all of them! I then typed in flowers, since I am a gardening nut and I like Flowers are the sweetest thing God ever made and forgot to put a soul into and I will touch a 100 flowers. Love your apron swap!

    But ...
    This one (Watercolor Rose Fantasy - Flirty Hostess Apron) reminds me of one I used to borrow at my Nana's and well since purple is my fav colour (I even haad a purple wedding), I have to choose Lavander Twist - Flirty Apron.
