new kid in town

well, I am a new kid on the block and very excited to be! I have already started my apron and I have to say it is fun to make an apron for an "unknown" friend. A few months ago my knitting group went on a retreat to Seattle. We had a surprise bridal shower for my daughter and as a special surprise my girlfriend and I made 14 aprons as gifts for them! What an adventure, lots of "way past midnight" nights!

    Welcome aboard! and you'll end up getting 'shamed" into starting a blog, too, just so you can share more with other like-minded crafters. We definitely have a lot of fun looking at each other's stuff.

    I too have an idea of what I want to make for my partner, and I've already started gathering some of the goodies because i just couldn't resist....
