This was the apron I decided to make for my partner. I wanted something that related to the theme, but that she could wear past Valentines Day. I hope she likes it.
The fabric I used actually came from a set of cafe curtains that I found at Walmart. I LOVED the design on them, so I purchased them and ran home to pop them in the washing machine to make sure that the fabric stood up nicely and behaved itself ...... it did, beautifully!!!
To make the bib section of the apron more interesting, I printed my favorite raspberry pie recipe onto printable fabric, finished it off with 3 heart buttons and attached it to the bib with some decorative stitching.
I'll keep my tuck ins a secret, so that they'll be a suprise ...... I had fun deciding on those. The one in particular was really hard to part with:-)
Thanks Shawnee for another fantastic swap.
