I saw the cutest apron pattern on the Apronista Flickr Group called the Palooza Apron. It has a cross-over bodice and sweet corset-laced back. So fresh!! I contacted the pattern designer, Jamie Christina, and she offered to share not just one but THREE of her amazing apron patterns!
About the sewing patterns...
Jamie Christina sewing patterns are written so that both the experienced and beginning sewer can enjoy the process and end product of a pattern. Each pattern is written with concise instructions, detailed illustrations, and practical engineering. Nothing is assumed by Jamie when designing her patterns, which is why a glossary of terms defining techniques and words accompanies every pattern. It is Jamie's hope that her patterns will serve as a tool for the sewer to express their creative artistry through sewing.
About Jamie...
Jamie's journey into design is far from a traditional track. Following a creative spark that she experienced through a community center quilting class, Jamie dove head first into the discovery process of fabric and design. Being a stay at home mother of three, she began to acquire a self-taught understanding of her craft through the reading of fabric and design books, tutorials, and garment deconstruction.
Eventually, Jamie began to create and sell her pattern designs in her etsy store, Pretty Ditty.com. The success of her patterns has been the added bonus to what began as a creative adventure, which now continues at JamieChristina.com where she is able to create, share, and express with you.
This pattern was Jamie's first, the Pretty Ditty Apron
