My Secret Santa Package Arrived

I was so excited when my co-worker (my co-worker has enjoyed this as much as I)  called and said I had a package on my desk.  I knew exactly what it was.  I couldn't wait to tear into it.  Inside I found a magazine with lots of great recipes, Dove chocolate (my favorite),  a candy-cane letter "L" ornament, very cute paper plates, and I LOVED~ LOVED the homemade garland.  I couldn't believe someone went to so much trouble for me, cutting & tying.  I'm going to have to redo my tree now.  I've already got plans to figure out how you made the garland so that I may add to it.  I know the picture doesn't do the package justice.  I just couldn't wait to share & say thank you to my Secret Santa Lori.  Merry Christmas!

  1. Yay, Lisa! I'm so glad you liked it!! I can send you the info for making it if you want to make more. All of the fabric came from Hobby Lobby...do you have one? If not, I'd be happy to get more and send it to you.

  3. I just got 1/4 yd of each fabric and cut it into 1" strips. I have a rotary cutting tool which made that a breeze. Then I folded each piece in half and made the knot by putting the ends through the loop at the top...I hope that makes sense...it's the same way many tutorials tell you to do the tulle for a tu-tu. I just used a roll of rope-ish stuff from HL too:)
