Apron Love
Here is the apron I made for my partner. I used a vintage feed sack, vintage embroidered table scarf, and some 30's reproduction fabric. I lined it in off-white Kona cotton. It was a bit challenging deciding what to do. I spend most of Sunday putting all my kitchen linens out and mixing and matching. This was my first idea, but I wasn't sure how to make it fit together, and I only had the one feed sack in that color. I also don't know how my partner feels about yellow. Yellow can be a bit tricky, but I think the purple balances it out well. I actually ended up cutting a table cloth, and then decided the heck with it, I've got to go with this first idea. It's the butterflies and flowers! I just think they are lovely. (I hope my partner does, too). I haven't mailed it yet. I need to figure out what I'm sending with it, first.

Yellow works for people with tans--so just tell your partner to get out in the garden! (So maybe send some flower seeds and suntan lotion?)
