Apron safely achieved !

Kathy, my secret partner has recieved her apron and she loves it !

Oh my god, I am so happy that it reached her safely. I was so anxious that it it got lost somewhere in between.

Her comments are very nice. I sew this project with all my heart and I must say that it means a lot to me that she appreciate it so much. This swap is a geat experience, really. All the more so, that it gave me the oppportunity to get to know very nice girls like Paula. thank you, Shawnee for organizing it.

Now, I can show the final result to all of you.

  1. It's beautiful! And Kathy posted on her blog about her going to doll up so she could do the apron justice in the pictures she's taking! It's nice when your work is appreciated--especially when your sewing for someone you don't know!

  11. This apron is so sweet I could eat it with a spoon!

Interesting -- there are two aprons in this swap that have morning glory fabric with candy stripe binding. I find morning glory prints irresistible, and paired with that binding it really makes it irresistible. I am going out this afternoon to hunt for some. It takes an already pretty apron and adds some...oomph!!!
