Finally Done

I didn't think I would make the deadline. We were hit by a Spring blizzard.It started snowing Wed night and didn't stop until Sat around midnight. Also we didn't have power until Sunday. There are still 3000 resident with out power yet today. We ended up with over 3 feet of snow. So... no sewing was going on around here.

Anyway...here is my reversible apron.
This side with the chickens is a clothes pin style with pockets across the bottom. The middle is a cross stitch from a vintage pillow case along with vintage button and trim.

On this side.... the little chick pocket is from a
corner of a vintage table cloth.

I had ordered something to include in my package, but because of the storm there has been no mail delivery for the last 4 days and it has not arrived. So....With my apron I have added some of my vintage sewing notions, including lots of buttons.
I inherited thousands of then. Hopefully my secret swapper will have some use for them.
~~~~~~ENJOY!~~~~~~
  2. What a great package!
    I love the blue/chicken side of the apron-- and I'm not into the chicken kitchen decor, but that's fabulous!
